Various research has it that after Raphinha’s unsuccessful trials with International and Grêmio, he started his career playing youth football with Imbituba, where he was later scouted by Avaí. Raphinha was called up to represent Brazil for the team’s World Cup qualifiers against Chile, Argentina and Peru in the month August 2021.
