Jorge Cuenca Barreno who was born in Madrid, Cuenca joined Alcorcón’s youth setup in 2015. The young star made his senior debut with the reserves on the 12th of February 2017, starting in a 1–0 Tercera División home win against FC Villanueva del Pardillo. The young star agreed to a five-year contract with the club, but was immediately loaned to Almería of the second division for a year.
